The 'Kelly Clarkson Show' Unveils Final Season's Guest Hosts
As the iconic daytime talk show hosted by Kelly Clarkson comes to a close, NBC has announced a lineup of guest hosts to take the reins throughout the year. The first celebrity to step up is the Grammy-award-winning singer P!nk, who will take center stage the week of March 2. This special week of episodes will celebrate Women's History Month, featuring inspiring stories of women breaking barriers and uplifting others, along with surprise performances.
In a statement, P!nk expressed her excitement, saying, 'I've played stadiums and danced on the side of buildings, but stepping in to guest host for my girl Kelly Clarkson is a brand new feat. Let's celebrate women, joy, resilience, and whatever else comes our way!' Clarkson and P!nk previously collaborated in 2023, performing duets of tracks like 'Who Knew' and 'Please Don't Leave Me' on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show.'
Despite her enthusiasm, Clarkson shared a humorous observation, stating, 'The only thing that bums me out about P!NK hosting a week of 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' is that I’m not going to be able to be there to watch her.'
The show's final season will continue to air through the fall, with additional 'special guest hosts' to be announced. The finale date remains undisclosed. Clarkson's decision to step away from hosting was a personal one, as she prioritized her kids and a necessary shift in her schedule. This comes after the tragic passing of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, who died at 48 due to a three-year battle with skin cancer, leaving behind two children, River Rose and Remy Alexander.
